Starter Day is the greatest day. At least, it is for Danny. He and Ash had been working on something these past few weeks and he could feel it. They were ready, and he wanted to show it to Bean! Carrying Coffee in his paws, he was walking alongside Ash as they went over to Noctis'.

Given it was a day for your Starter Pokemon, Ash had been spoiling Danny a little. They'd gotten a muffin, roughhoused a bit, and Danny was insisting on seeing Bean and showing her the power they'd been training with. Although he had conveyed it as 'please let me see my beautiful wife and my beautiful child in the not-my-but-still-very-beautiful house.'

"Hey Noct! Bean! Happy Starter Day!" He called. Danny boofed in and Coffee wagged his tail, yipping into the house.

Noctis had already been doing his fair share of spoiling when it came to a certain Snorlax in his life. Queen Bean had been treated to a big box of Poffins that he'd picked out for her and she was sporting a rather lovely flower crown that alternated between lillies and roses. (And little Miss Sprout had a small one to match her momma!) By the time Ash, Danny and Coffee arrived everyone was settled in the living room watching a movie that was very quickly forgotten about because Sprout was immediately a ball of excitement.

Brother and father were here!!

The little Eevee scrambled out of her mother's lap, yipping and squeaking as she bounce-pranced to the door, the flower crown she wore falling over her eyes in the process which got a rumbling laugh from Bean.

"Happy Starter Day to you guys, too!" Noct said with a grin as he hopped up from the couch, grinning as he moved to intercept Ash and peck his cheek in greeting.

"Hey man. We're not disrupting ya, are we? Just, a certain someone was insisting." He returned the cheek kiss with a smile. This was way more normal than the dip-kissing he'd gotten on Valentines day (he's not gonna bring it up he just needs a month to get it out of his system)!

Danny wagged his tail as he entered and Coffee immediately leapt from his arms, playfully trying to pounce on Sprout. He's gonna get you! Although he'll quickly be distracted by the rumbling of his mother, racing over to her and jumping up to see her. Mum, hi Mum!! Danny laughed and knelt down to pick up Sprout, cuddling her to his chest. "Hello princess! How are you?" He cooed, stritching under her chin affectionately.

"Oh yeah, totally disrupting. How dare you guys," Noct teased, playfully nudging Ash with his elbow. "We weren't doing much of anything other than watching a movie we've already seen before."

Sprout giggled and tried to evade her brother but not being able to see makes it difficult. So it's a good thing he gets distracted by Bean! And then daddy saves her!

"Daddy!" she chirped, nuzzling up against him after the chin scritches, chirping and cooing happily. Across the room, Bean happily scooped Coffee up and nuzzled him with a happy rumble.

"Hello, my handsome little prince!"
