[ A surprise package is headed straight for you! A Staraptor has flown his way over and lands with a proud cry. He won't hand over the parcel until he's been praised because he's done good and you're gonna recognise that.

Once it's finally released, the parcel has quite a few things in it. There's a Magikarp shirt, a giant gummy Snorlax (Who needs this much gummy Snorlax??) and some poffins. But wait! There's smaller parcels wrapped separately, with Noct's Pokemons names on them. Bean's parcel contains some heart shaped berry candies that are suitable for Pokemon and people, but they are all for QUEEN BEAN. Kitty, Crowe and Amicitia get...a Protein each?? (someone had called in a favour for the Heist Crew). And Ana receives a used Dawn Stone, with a short note that reads; "Like this stone, potential radiates like a star within you."

And there's a handful of seashells in the box?? ]

So dude, figured I'd send ya some stuff! Turns out, Fuchsia's kinda wild even without the Pikachus at the beach. There's a NINJA school here?? I've checked it out and taken a course which was actually pretty tough. But get this; they used to have this place called 'the Safari Zone'. You'd pay some cash up front, be let in and it's like, a nature reserve for Pokemon! You weren't allowed to start fights there or take your Pokemon in but they'd give you some pokeballs and you could catch all these rare Pokemon for a day. But they got rid of it?? And instead there's some movie studios there??? They even had a zoo out front of the rarer mons so you could see them without having to go in or in case you did go in and just didn't see them but that's gone too! WHO DID THIS. WHY.

Aside from that, it's alright overall. The Pikachus always run up to see me when I'm at the beach and Diarmuid's been helping me to understand them. But I can tell he's not totally down for their hippie nature! Diarmuid told me that they all named themselves cos a human ain't gonna pick their name for them, they're independent Pikachus who don't need no man. There's one in particular that I think likes me, he's called himself Holokai. Which is hilarious and adorable. But they're really upset over the bullshit the weather's been doing lately and I can't blame them. Nobody knows why those legendary dogs being such fucks right now, do they? :/

Anyway, here's some things I saw that made me think of you. And there's stuff from the rest of the party too (which is why it took so long to get sent)! They wouldn't let me peek at what they were sending, so I don't know what your mons are getting. Sorry if it's poison/knives/GUNS or something equally stupid.

[The Staraptor certainly does get a lot of praise because Noctis and his Pokemon appreciate the gifts.

His response isn't going to come in the form of a letter, though, because a certain trio is way too excited to want to write a letter. So Ash and his crew will be treated to a video call, Kitty, Crowe and Amicitia in the forefront and chattering excitedly about the Proteins they received. In the background, Ana can be seen cradling her Dawn stone proudly while Noct hands Bean the gift from Danny.]

[Noct seems to realize that a video call was started, the young man glancing over then double taking.]

You guys! I said I would call in a few minutes!

[ Ash hadn't expected the message. He beamed when he saw the happy Pokemon, calling over the Pokemon who'd given things. It was a lucky thing he'd been training those three lately. An Tintreach jumps up to see her beloved friends, beaming and squeaking eagerly. ]

You guys got it!! I heard that stuff makes you even STRONGER! You'll all be unstoppable!

Hey dude! There wasn't any poison or knives or guns in that parcel right? [ He's a little sheepish. but he trusted them to not put anything too crazy in there. ]

We can't wait to try it!

I'm gonna wreck everything now!

[As she said it, Kitty punched her hands together, grinning as Crowe stomped her feet.]

Wreck 'em!

No, nothing like that! [It's said with a laugh as Noctis comes over now, kneeling down so they can all still be visible.] Just some treats for Bean, proteins for this troublemakers-- [He rubs Amicitia's head as he says it, the Stufful mewing.] --and a Dawn Stone for Ana. She's really excited about it.

[ As An Tintreach cheered at their stomping and showboating, Ash grinned. danny leaned over his shoulder, giving a bark and waving to the screen. Diarmuid stood the side, smiling and folding his arms. Ash turned to the Gallade ]

A Dawn Stone huh? The one I gave to you? [ Diarmuid nodded. Ash turned back to Noctis. ] Well I'm glad everyone liked their gifts! Right? [ ...Noctis did like that giant gummy Snorlax and the shirt, right? ]

[Hearing Danny's bark, Bean let out a rumble in the background and waved, her other paw carefully holding the gift she'd received.]

I don't know when she's going to decide to evolve but I'm letting her hang onto it so she can do it when she's ready. [Noctis grinned then.] Dude, of course I liked my gifts. You gave me a Magikarp shirt and a giant gummy Snorlax. How could I not love them?

Well, it might be the wrong flavour of giant gummy Snorlax. [ But he's grinning playfully anyway. Behind him, Danny's tail wags. Yes, his sweets made it to Bean! He's heard they were super tasty, so he really hopes they are. ]

Hitchcock's not trying to start shit is he? He likes to show off, usually by starting a fight. Oh! Did you get the letter as well?

It's perfect, don't worry.

[And he appreciates it a lot. Things had been really weird lately what with Prompto acting so strange and Ignis being around. The little things like Ash's package of gifts made it better.]

Nah he's being good. I complimented him a bunch and he puffed up like he was the best bird around. Choco wasn't impressed but at least she's tolerating him.

Ah good. Yeah, it's the birds he likes to challenge the most. He and Fionn have some kind of...friendly rivaly I think. They'll argue and get into scraps, but they'll perch side by side and be just fine after.

[ He has no idea about recent events with Prompto; He knows he's been feeling blue after Damien the Yamask had spoken to him over the network about his trainer being upset, and he knew Ignis coming had revealed some tough times ahead. But he didn't know how...off it could be, to be around that all the time. ]

Honestly I was gonna send you that stuff once I got here, but everyone wanted to add something. By the time I was wrapping it up ont he beach, the surfers wanted to add some shells too.

Choco just isn't a fan of most other Pokemon. She's a bit of a lone wolf type. But I think she may be warming up to him.

[As warm as the Toucannon could be.]

How dare you. [Noct rolled his eyes playfully.] I appreciate the stuff all the same and so do all the others, promise. I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet but the seashells may get turned into necklaces for everyone.

Aw, that's good! [ Hitchcock would, of course, be happy with the attention. Ash beamed at the idea of shell necklaces ] Aw that's really cool! You'll have to show me them once they're done.

The surfers have been giving our rings of flowers here. It's so cute.

I will, I promise! Expect lots of pictures once they're all done.

They really like you guys. Am I ever going to see you guys in person again or are you going to disappear with the Pikachu surfer cult?

[ Ash laughed and shook his head. ] No no! I can't follow them to their super secret Pikachu island. Apparently that's actually where they go; they come here for the summer waves and go back to some island for the rest of the year.

And they ain't a cult! They're just some cool little chus who keep asking me for berries. And one of em keeps sitting and meditating with me.

Uh huh. Kind of sounds like a cult if you ask me.

[He's teasing, though. They sound like pretty awesome little Chus.]

Maybe he'll end up going with you when you finally leave.

Nah, probably not. I mean, they don't like Pokeballs and live for the waves. He just likes hanging out and teaching me stuff through Diarmuid. [ He lowers his voice with a smile ]

It's hilarious to watch Diarmuid translate what he's saying, cos I'm pretty sure Diarmuid doesn't buy into their surfer logic at all.

Hey, you never know. Maybe he'll surprise you!

[His grin turns into a warm smile.]

That's kind of hilariously adorable.

It is sweet. I think it's safe to say Diarmuid prefers him to some of my other troublemakers. Did I mention that the Pikachu gave himself a name? He made sure Diarmuid told me his name is Holokai, so I've been calling him that.

That's kind of awesome.

I think they do! Only Holokai's told me his though. I told him my name is Ash and he got all thoughtful over it, then told me it's a kinda sad name. Why'd I get called after the burnt remains of trees?

Took a while to explain that it's a nickname and that Ashley's just a name. it probably means something but I got no idea what!

[Noctis can't help but snort softly.]

That Pikachu is going to make you start questioning everything, just watch.

Not if I keep distracting him by telling him how the sands shift and flow like water when you try to hold it. Which totally means something too.

[ He's grinning. Holokai is hilarious and he's so glad he bolted over two regions to get here, so he could meet him! ]

Ash...that's both terrible and wonderful all at the same time.

What, you're not gonna be coming down and joining us at the beach?

Like, I'll totally teach you the ways of the surf, maaaan. [ He might have drawled that last sentence just like a surfer bum...aka like Holokai. ]
