Met on Four Island (level 21) | September 16th, 2018 While paying another visit to the research center that Armin works at on Four Island, Noctis spent quite a bit of time diving and exploring the underwater depths to see what he could encounter. He had been admiring some Corsola when this Mareanie attacked out of nowhere, clearly intent on attacking the other Pokemon but Noctis ended up getting involved and, with some help from Quay the Popplio whom he'd recently reunited with, managed to subdue the Mareanie and catch it--only to realize that it was definitely not a normal one by any means.
This Shiny Pokemon was pretty quick to accept it's new life, happy to accept the attention he received for being special. (Yes, admire him. Look at how amazing he is~) Dubbing the odd creature Ultros, Noctis is a bit unsure what to do with him right now, given how genuinely creepy he is but he's willing to give any Pokemon a chance.
