Met at New Bark Town (level 5) | February 20th, 2017 Reunited August 20th, 2018 Bean is, without a doubt, the best starter Pokemon that Noctis could have ended up with. They both enjoy taking naps and snacking, they both like to lounge around when given the chance and they're both absolute dorks. From the moment Noctis woke up in this world and met the adorable little Munchlax sitting on his chest it was love at first sight. They've been inseparable ever since, Bean rarely ever swapped out of the team unless it's obvious she needs a break. Given how quick they bonded it was no surprised that Bean evolved into Snorlax after their first gym battle, taking out the final opponent and evolving in a showy manner much to Noct's delight.
While she may not be the largest member of the team anymore Bean is still very much the matriarch, many of the other Pokemon looking to her for guidance or comfort when something happens. She cares deeply about all of them and especially about Noctis, very in-tune to what the prince is feeling and able to pull him out of those sad moments or at least offer comfort to help him get through. It's very rare to see Bean get mad at anyone but if you do cross her prepare to get a Hyper Beam to the face because she will not hold back.
Through the interactions of their trainers, Bean and Ash's Lucario Danny began to grow very close, eventually becoming romantically involved. The pair are absolutely head over heels in love with one another and it's the cutest damn thing Noctis has ever seen. Whenever gifts are exchanged between the trainers there is usually something exchanged between the pair, tokens that they can wear or small pastries they can eat. It's adorable okay. And it's seriously a shame that they can breed.
Since the events of the Nightmare Forest, Bean has been a lot more wary of Ghost-type Pokemon, hesitant to allow them near Noctis for fear of what they might do. She already knows that some pretty bad things wait for her trainer back home and she wants to try and make sure nothing bad happens to him here. (Which is why he needs to get his act together and ask a certain someone out already!)
The loss of Noct hit Bean pretty hard and she ended up disappearing into the wilds to wait it out, hoping the prince would make an appearance again. It took several months but he finally did return and you'd be crazy to think Bean wasn't there to welcome him back the instant he woke up again!! They've been inseparable since, Bean refusing to return to her Pokeball since she's scared to lose her trainer again, and they're battling their way through Kanto to regain Noct's badges and their old teammates.
Met at New Bark Town (level 6) | August 20th, 2018 After waking up in Johto again, Noctis and Bean were weighing their options when this sneaking little bird attempted to steal some snacks out of the prince's backpack. A fight between the Pidgey and Bean would have been grossly unfair so Noctis decided to catch the feisty thing instead--wasting two Pokeballs on the bird but he was pretty amused by her and it was worth it in his opinion. Dubbing her "Macaroni" in honor of Ignis's Pidgey, this little bird seems to be okay with the idea of being kept as a pet...as long as her new trainer plays by HER rules.
She likes to ride around on Noct's shoulder or Bean's head, not a big fan of being inside her Pokeball which is fine with the prince honestly.
Two months together and Mac has decided that Noct is pretty A-Okay, extremely protective of the prince now--so much so that she's taken her first step in evolution and become a Pidgeotto. She's a bit wary of his old guard that are with them again, especially Chocobo, but she's learning to deal with his old crew being with the team again. She's a little too big to perch on Noct's shoulder these days but he does let her on his arm when he can...otherwise she can be found riding around on top of Kitty the Tyrannitar.

Received from Bert (egg) | August 26th, 2018 Hatched on September 2nd, 2018 A quiet little thing, Kotetsu is the type of Pokemon that prefers the company of humans to other Pokemon. (Most of the time. Ana has become the exception to this.) He's quite content to sit beside Noct when they're camping or diligently follow after his trainer when they're on the move, ignoring his hatchmate's attempts to get him to play in favor of practicing his attacks and trying to impress his trainer. He's extremely stubborn and refuses to back down even when he's clearly outmatched in a fight, butting heads with some of Noct's older Pokemon when they rejoined the group because he didn't feel like they deserved to be there. (And he might have a chip on his shoulder because Levithan is the clear leader of the group but HE wants to be dammit!)
Despite his temperament at times, Kotetsu is a very loyal little guy and quite loving towards the prince to boot, never afraid to nuzzle up to Noctis when he gets the chance...and when he thinks no one is looking.
As of late he's taken to following Ana the Weavile around whenever he can, learning from her and dedicating himself to being a knight just like she is. It's helping his temperament a bit and getting him to open up to some of the other Pokemon slowly but surely, while also helping him hone his skills so he can earn a place on the active battling team alongside Ana.

Received from Bert (egg) | August 26th, 2018 Hatched on September 2nd, 2018 From the get go it was clear that Pryna was just a happy go lucky little girl that wanted nothing more than to love everyone and everything! She loves to stick her nose into things and see what she can find, always ready for adventure and to make new friends! (Even if Kotetsu doesn't want to be friends she's determined to be his best friend in the whole wide world!!!) She's always frolicking along behind Noct's other Pokemon, taking an instant liking to Carbuncle when he rejoined the group and deciding that she wanted to be just like him. She's a bit on the clumsy side since her paws are a bit too big for her body still but she's slowly getting use to her bulk and growing into her body better which is helping her battling as well!
Cuddles and scritches are some of Pryna favorite things in the entire world and if you give her some you will be one of her favorite humans--though no one will ever be better than Noctis. It's clear this pup loves her trainer with her entire being and loves to curl up with him every chance she gets.

Received in Ecruteak (Egg) | April 26th, 2017 Hatched on May 3rd, 2017 Received from Thida on August 26th, 2018 Hatched from the egg that Noctis received in thanks for helping defeat Team Rocket, Carbuncle is just an absolute delight. He's interested in everything and seems to enjoy just about anything that comes his way, always wanting to play with the other members of Noctis's team--even the ones that aren't very playful. He's definitely already bonded to Noctis and loves to ride around n his shoulder. At night, the tiny little thing likes to curl up between Noct's shoulder and neck, snuggled there for the duration of the night. This little sweetheart is starting to develop a streak for mischief thanks to Macavity, the shiny Eevee that Noctis's friend Ash hatched after Prom as well.
After being with Noctis for two months, Carbuncle seemed to decide it was time to evolve, leading to this lime green monstrosity. Now an Espeon, Carbuncle is having fun with his new psychic abilities and it's only a matter of time before he's able to communicate telepathically. (aka he ended up stealing the necessary TM so he could do it. THANKS MACAVITY.)
A constant in Noct's team, Carbuncle is one of his strongest battlers and one of Pokemon that he's definitely most bonded to. They have a lot of inside jokes and Carbuncle is usually found draped over his shoulders, giggling and adding commentary to any conversation the prince ends up in. He does what he can to ease Noct's mind when something bothers him, like the events of the Nightmare Forest, and wards off Pokemon that attempt to harm the prince with their own psychic abilities. He's also very invested in his trainer's happiness--and the happiness of the rest of the team--and goes out of his way to do things to brighten their days! (Or encourage them to admit their feelings properly.)
When Noct left, Carbuncle ended up with Thida and was pretty out of it for a few weeks. It was strange not having his dear trainer there anymore and while he was fond of Thida, had been since she was practically Noct's little sister, it was hard to get over the loss of the prince. Eventually he settled into his new home and started having fun with Thida and her team, perking back up and becoming his playful self again. Upon Noct's return the Espeon returned to his team, giving Thida lots of kisses before he went, happy to be in his rightful place again on the prince's shoulders.

Received from Armin (egg) | September 5th, 2018 Hatched on September 12nd, 2018 Unlike the Skrelp that Noctis had raised his first time around in the Pokemon World, this little guy is a little hardass that has an agenda and doesn't like to sway from it. He's got a temper, has had it since he hatched, and doesn't like when others mess around too much, quick to hit them with a Dragon Pulse or unleash Surf on anyone messing around when things are meant to be serious. Highwind is definitely destined to be a battler with the drive he's got going on and Noct plans to introduce him to Leviathan once this little guy is a little higher level, having a feeling that the Gyarados will enjoy this Skrelp's larger than life attitude quite a bit.

Met on Three Island (level 34) | September 7th, 2018 Rex is very much a typical Slowpoke in that he has slow reaction times and can come off as very oblivious to the world around him, but in reality this Slowpoke is actually a very out-going and ready for action Pokemon. He's got a very strong will and wants to fight for Noctis, has since the two crossed paths on Three Island, Rex seeing something in the prince that intrigued him enough to prompt a battle initially before he allowed himself to be caught. He trains hard alongside the others despite his slower speed and has proven he's got what it takes to be apart of Noct's new active battling team.
Now that he's got Psychic at his disposal, Rex has made it clear that he wants to eventually evolve into a Slowking, honoring both the name he holds (because he knows Noctis named him after his own father) and because he wants to be a king like his trainer is. The addition of Halberd the Nidorino has only fueled this desire, as the other Pokemon will eventually take on a "King" evolution as well and Rex wants to make sure the line of Kings is strong in Noct's team.

Met on Four Island (level 25) | September 10th, 2018 Noctis encountered this flighty little Mantyke while visiting Four Island and diving with Armin the first time, not intending on adding any Pokemon to his team at the time but, well, this little guy had other plans for the prince. Outright sticking to his back as he was exploring the reef, the Mantyke rode around on Noctis for most of the time he spent under the water and seemed to enjoy making it a little difficult for him to travel around.
He saw it as a game even if Noctis didn't.
Eventually Noctis caught the little guy just to keep him from causing anymore trouble and Crepe, as the prince dubbed him, became apart of the troublemakers already inhabiting the prince's team. He's not much of a battler just yet but he's great for morale boosting, always there to cheer his teammates on and he loves dancing about to the music that Quay creates. Despite how much of a troublemaker he can be Noctis is pretty charmed by the little guy, even when Crepe decides it's time to play tag and takes off at high speeds through the water on a whim.
Met on Four Island (level 1) | September 12th, 2018 While visiting the islands Noctis got wind of a breeding center and decided to pay it a visit, not really intending to pick any new Pokemon up...but then he saw that they had Riolus available. The loss of Ash and Danny still stung for both him and Bean so he made the call to purchase one of the canine Pokemon and brought it back to the house as a surprise for his starter Pokemon. Dubbing the little girl Cara, Noctis introduced the pair and it was honestly love at first sight. Bean took to the little Riolu immediately and Cara bonded with the larger Pokemon without hesitation, clearly accepting her as mom without needing time to adjust.
A very gentle little thing, Cara always takes her time when learning new things, determined to get it right so she can do it perfectly from that point forward. It's very rare to see her away from Bean or Sprout, her sibling, but she will wander places with Noct from time to time as long as she gets to hold his hand.

Met in Cherrygrove (level 10) | March 3rd, 2017 Regained at Forever-and-a-Day Ranch | September 14th, 2018 The fluffiest and most determined creature ever, Floof ended up following Noctis around most of Cherrygrove while the prince and Prompto were staying there. Before they left, Noctis decided to offer him a place in his team and the Bidoof happily let himself be captured. He's a cuddler and loves to nap with Bean but is also very determined to win whenever they train--even if he's not the strongest thing out there.
While not an active battler, preferring to stay at Noct's rental house and take care of any of the others also staying there, Floof is a rough and tumble guy when the situation calls for it. He can hold his own against the best of them and Noctis has worked hard to make sure that Floof never has trouble getting his point across in a fight.
Since Noct's return to the Pokemon world Floof has been a little more adamant about staying by the prince's side and doing what he can to prove himself on the battlefield in the process. He wants to do what he can to protect his trainer (he knows that he went through some pretty rough stuff back home) and that means he has to get stronger! (Fun fact: He's already strong.)

Met in Cherrygrove - Swarm (level 5) | March 3rd, 2017 Regained at Forever-and-a-Day Ranch | September 14th, 2018 When the swarm of lion-like Pokemon entered Cherrygrove, Noct and his small team had taken on a few of the creatures including Regent. Down to 1HP after the battle, Noctis decided to try catching the small Shinx and didn't have any issues catching this guy mostly because Regent seemed to have taken an interest in Noctis and his team. There was something about them he found intriguing and honestly he was just too tired to fight it so he made the choice to stay inside the ball and see what would happen.
He's hands down one of the calmest members of the team and has stayed that way through all of his evolutions. His patience is that of a saint as well, Regent able to deal with the more rambunctious members of the team easily and he genuinely seems to adore young Pokemon, allowing them to crawl all over him and even giving them piggy-back rides from time to time. When it comes to battle, though, a new side of Regent comes out: his competitive streak. He absolutely hates to lose and will work his hardest through any fight to make sure that he comes out victorious at the end. When he's not spending time with little ones or sunning himself Regent is usually training, happily going head to head with any of the others so he can perfect a strategy against all over types.
Now one of Noct's core battlers, Regent is looked at by many of the other members of the team with respect as he's been around longer than most. (Even if he defaults to Bean on all decisions because she's the leader guys. Come on.)

Met in the Dark Cave (level 10) | March 8th, 2017 Regained at Forever-and-a-Day Ranch | September 14th, 2018 Part of the pair of Rockruffs that became really interested in the group when they were camped out in the dark cave, Shepard took an instant liking to Noctis. There was no battle necessary because the poffins that Bean offered the pair were more than enough to win them over and Shepard spent the rest of the night sprawled over Noct's lap getting belly scratches and ear rubs. The little Rockruff happily followed him away from the cave when he and Prompto set out the next day and the prince officially invited her to join the team, giving her a Pokeball of her own during their trip to the next town.
Since that day Shepard has been a rather constant fixture in the team, bonding immediately with Bean and Pride. She's a bit on the clumsy side but always cleans up the messes she makes and is just a lot of fun to be around in general. While she is a bit of a clown, though, she will get snappy if anyone messes with her pack and even as a Rockruff she was determined to chase off anyone that was threatening! When she finally did evolving it was late one evening and, unlike her sibling that had chosen Prompto as their trainer, she took on the Midnight form, standing upright rather than on all fours. She's even more chill now than she was before, Shepard enjoying lounging about whenever she gets the chance but oh does she love to play just as much as she loves to lounge. She's easily become one of Noct's core battlers and a mainstay on his team, taking her place with Bean, Pride, Carbuncle, Chocochick, and Leviathan as the leads of the group. She adores Noctis and will go to bat for him if anything happens, turning into a bristling mass of fur and fury if need be.
After a Team Rocket lab was blown up in Goldenrod City, Shepard accompanied Noctis and Pride who, along with Ash and some of his team, went to check things out. It was there that Shepard and Pride found the small Magby that was later dubbed Tamale, the little Fire Pokemon adopting the Lycanroc and Luxray as her surrogate guardians for now. Shepard takes the role extremely seriously as she understands what sort of abuse the baby-mon was put through and goes full terror mode on anyone that even glances wrong at Tamale.

Received from Walter (Egg) | May 17th, 2017 Hatched on May 21st, 2017 Regained at Forever-and-a-Day Ranch | September 14th, 2018 While she's generally a very easy going little Pokemon, Ana is definitely a one-person Sneasel. She bonded to Noctis the moment she hatched and can usually be found clinging to his leg or huddled up inside his coat if he's sitting down. She's not aggressive towards any other people or Pokemon but she prefers not to interact with any of them. (Though she does seem to enjoy Floof's presence quite a bit.)
The exception to this is, of course, during training and battles. She throws herself into fighting, clearly getting a thrill from it and striving to be the best she can be. This new focus came after meeting Diarmuid, Ash's Gallade. Intrigued by the other Pokemon and the whole knight business, Ana is determined to prove that she can be one as well. She admires the Gallade's bold nature and everything he stands for and wants to be that for her trainer--and maybe even other Pokemon one day.
After Noctis and Ash returned to Olivine following the Nightmare Forest event, Ana seemed to decide then and there that it was time for her to evolve so she could better protect her trainer; be a better knight to her princely charge. Acquiring the razor claw that Noctis had purchased months ago, Ana evolved the night they returned home, pledging herself to protect her trainer and team from that moment forward.
She's still not an overly social Pokemon but she's gotten better at working with others and engaging with them, standing up for those that need her and being a role model for the younger members of Noct's team. (Like Sprout and Cara.) Like her own mentor, Diarmuid, Ana has taken on a student of her own in Kotetsu the Charmeleon, teaching the other everything she knows to continue the tradition of knighthood.

Met during 4th Wall (level 7) | May 26th, 2017 Regained at Forever-and-a-Day Ranch | September 14th, 2018 The biggest brat to ever brat. Seriously. This little girl appeared in Noct's hotel room during the weird things that happened one weekend and he has no idea where she came from. She's just a little ball of rage and doesn't like to listen to anything anyone has to say. (Noct ended up having to stuff her--gently--into a backpack to keep her from getting into too much trouble while he tried to navigate through Goldenrod okay.)
Having been together for over a month now, Noctis has grown to adore this little ball of fury though he still gets frustrated with her because of how bratty she is. Add Crowe, Noct's Tyrunt, to the mix and it's becoming harder and harder to keep Kitty out of trouble especially since she, along with Crowe and Amicitia, desire to become pro-wrestlers thanks to the influence of a certain Pikachu belonging to Noct's boyfriend Ash.
Now a Tyranitar, Kitty is an unstoppable force of nature that is extremely protective of Crowe and Amicitia..but will also throw down if anyone dares to threaten Noctis. She is overly protective of her trainer and will not stand for anyone doing something that could harm him so, for your own well being, don't do anything stupid when she's around.
Since Noct's return to the Pokemon world Kitty has been a bit more subdued, largely due to Crowe and Amicitia being missing leaving her the only pro-wrestler around. She's still fiercely protective of her trainer and the team as a whole now but her spark is definitely dimmer than it use to be.
Received from Armin (egg) | September 5th, 2018 Hatched on September 12nd, 2018 Despite his best efforts after this little Pokemon hatched, Noctis didn't have much luck bonding with Aegis or making much headway in training the little Staryu. It's timid nature and fear of Pokemon much larger than itself made it very difficult to have Aegis out most of the time and ultimately Noctis realized that, for Aegis's own well being, it might be best to find the little one a better place to live.
His chance came upon reaching Goldenrod during December after his trip to the Kanto Region when he met a young trainer that was having some trouble with a female Nidoran that she had caught. Noctis told her about the Staryu he had that needed some special attention and a very patient, calm trainer and the young girl seemed intrigued by the Staryu's story. Introductions were made and Aegis seemed to take to the girl much easier than the Pokemon had to Noctis and after an hour of interactions it was decided:
Aegis would go with the girl while Noct took the Nidoran into his team.

Battle Details: Starting off against the Noctowl, Bean is going to immediately use Defense Curl to boost her own defense followed by Screech to lower her opponent's since she doesn't have anything that's super effective against Flying types. From there she's going to use Body Slam twice in a row in order to take this bird out of the game.
At the start of the next round Noctis is going to use a potion on Bean to be on the safe side, since she is the only Pokemon he's got in this race. Afterwards he'll have her use Screech again to knock the Honchkrow's defense down some before using her third turn to strike with Surf.
Once the Honchkrow is down and their final opponent is out, Noctis will use a Hyper Potion he bought this time before having Bean use Screech twice in a row this time for a double hit to the Pidgeot's defense stat. Saving her strongest move for the Pidgeot, Bean's going to use Hyper Beam against the final bird foe in hopes of taking it out with one shot.

The back porch has a stairwell that leads down to the beach, allowing for easy access to the water. Because of this, the Karp Squad permanently stay in Olivine City to enjoy the water and have free access to the entire channel. Floof is a permanent resident of the house where he watches over some of the less battle-oriented Pokemon.

Bean is, without a doubt, the best starter Pokemon that Noctis could have ended up with. They both enjoy taking naps and snacking, they both like to lounge around when given the chance and they're both absolute dorks. From the moment Noctis woke up in this world and met the adorable little Munchlax sitting on his chest it was love at first sight. They've been inseparable ever since, Bean rarely ever swapped out of the team unless it's obvious she needs a break. Given how quick they bonded it was no surprised that Bean evolved into Snorlax after their first gym battle, taking out the final opponent and evolving in a showy manner much to Noct's delight.
While she may not be the largest member of the team anymore Bean is still very much the matriarch, many of the other Pokemon looking to her for guidance or comfort when something happens. She cares deeply about all of them and especially about Noctis, very in-tune to what the prince is feeling and able to pull him out of those sad moments or at least offer comfort to help him get through. It's very rare to see Bean get mad at anyone but if you do cross her prepare to get a Hyper Beam to the face because she will not hold back.
Through the interactions of their trainers, Bean and Ash's Lucario Danny began to grow very close, eventually becoming romantically involved. The pair are absolutely head over heels in love with one another and it's the cutest damn thing Noctis has ever seen. Whenever gifts are exchanged between the trainers there is usually something exchanged between the pair, tokens that they can wear or small pastries they can eat. It's adorable okay. And it's seriously a shame that they can breed.
Since the events of the Nightmare Forest, Bean has been a lot more wary of Ghost-type Pokemon, hesitant to allow them near Noctis for fear of what they might do. She already knows that some pretty bad things wait for her trainer back home and she wants to try and make sure nothing bad happens to him here. (Which is why he needs to get his act together and ask a certain someone out already!)
The loss of Noct hit Bean pretty hard and she ended up disappearing into the wilds to wait it out, hoping the prince would make an appearance again. It took several months but he finally did return and you'd be crazy to think Bean wasn't there to welcome him back the instant he woke up again!! They've been inseparable since, Bean refusing to return to her Pokeball since she's scared to lose her trainer again, and they're battling their way through Kanto to regain Noct's badges and their old teammates.

After waking up in Johto again, Noctis and Bean were weighing their options when this sneaking little bird attempted to steal some snacks out of the prince's backpack. A fight between the Pidgey and Bean would have been grossly unfair so Noctis decided to catch the feisty thing instead--wasting two Pokeballs on the bird but he was pretty amused by her and it was worth it in his opinion. Dubbing her "Macaroni" in honor of Ignis's Pidgey, this little bird seems to be okay with the idea of being kept as a pet...as long as her new trainer plays by HER rules.
She likes to ride around on Noct's shoulder or Bean's head, not a big fan of being inside her Pokeball which is fine with the prince honestly.
Two months together and Mac has decided that Noct is pretty A-Okay, extremely protective of the prince now--so much so that she's taken her first step in evolution and become a Pidgeotto. She's a bit wary of his old guard that are with them again, especially Chocobo, but she's learning to deal with his old crew being with the team again. She's a little too big to perch on Noct's shoulder these days but he does let her on his arm when he can...otherwise she can be found riding around on top of Kitty the Tyrannitar.

A quiet little thing, Kotetsu is the type of Pokemon that prefers the company of humans to other Pokemon. (Most of the time. Ana has become the exception to this.) He's quite content to sit beside Noct when they're camping or diligently follow after his trainer when they're on the move, ignoring his hatchmate's attempts to get him to play in favor of practicing his attacks and trying to impress his trainer. He's extremely stubborn and refuses to back down even when he's clearly outmatched in a fight, butting heads with some of Noct's older Pokemon when they rejoined the group because he didn't feel like they deserved to be there. (And he might have a chip on his shoulder because Levithan is the clear leader of the group but HE wants to be dammit!)
Despite his temperament at times, Kotetsu is a very loyal little guy and quite loving towards the prince to boot, never afraid to nuzzle up to Noctis when he gets the chance...and when he thinks no one is looking.
As of late he's taken to following Ana the Weavile around whenever he can, learning from her and dedicating himself to being a knight just like she is. It's helping his temperament a bit and getting him to open up to some of the other Pokemon slowly but surely, while also helping him hone his skills so he can earn a place on the active battling team alongside Ana.

From the get go it was clear that Pryna was just a happy go lucky little girl that wanted nothing more than to love everyone and everything! She loves to stick her nose into things and see what she can find, always ready for adventure and to make new friends! (Even if Kotetsu doesn't want to be friends she's determined to be his best friend in the whole wide world!!!) She's always frolicking along behind Noct's other Pokemon, taking an instant liking to Carbuncle when he rejoined the group and deciding that she wanted to be just like him. She's a bit on the clumsy side since her paws are a bit too big for her body still but she's slowly getting use to her bulk and growing into her body better which is helping her battling as well!
Cuddles and scritches are some of Pryna favorite things in the entire world and if you give her some you will be one of her favorite humans--though no one will ever be better than Noctis. It's clear this pup loves her trainer with her entire being and loves to curl up with him every chance she gets.

Hatched from the egg that Noctis received in thanks for helping defeat Team Rocket, Carbuncle is just an absolute delight. He's interested in everything and seems to enjoy just about anything that comes his way, always wanting to play with the other members of Noctis's team--even the ones that aren't very playful. He's definitely already bonded to Noctis and loves to ride around n his shoulder. At night, the tiny little thing likes to curl up between Noct's shoulder and neck, snuggled there for the duration of the night. This little sweetheart is starting to develop a streak for mischief thanks to Macavity, the shiny Eevee that Noctis's friend Ash hatched after Prom as well.
After being with Noctis for two months, Carbuncle seemed to decide it was time to evolve, leading to this lime green monstrosity. Now an Espeon, Carbuncle is having fun with his new psychic abilities and it's only a matter of time before he's able to communicate telepathically. (aka he ended up stealing the necessary TM so he could do it. THANKS MACAVITY.)
A constant in Noct's team, Carbuncle is one of his strongest battlers and one of Pokemon that he's definitely most bonded to. They have a lot of inside jokes and Carbuncle is usually found draped over his shoulders, giggling and adding commentary to any conversation the prince ends up in. He does what he can to ease Noct's mind when something bothers him, like the events of the Nightmare Forest, and wards off Pokemon that attempt to harm the prince with their own psychic abilities. He's also very invested in his trainer's happiness--and the happiness of the rest of the team--and goes out of his way to do things to brighten their days! (Or encourage them to admit their feelings properly.)
When Noct left, Carbuncle ended up with Thida and was pretty out of it for a few weeks. It was strange not having his dear trainer there anymore and while he was fond of Thida, had been since she was practically Noct's little sister, it was hard to get over the loss of the prince. Eventually he settled into his new home and started having fun with Thida and her team, perking back up and becoming his playful self again. Upon Noct's return the Espeon returned to his team,
giving Thida lots of kisses before he went, happy to be in his rightful place again on the prince's shoulders.

Unlike the Skrelp that Noctis had raised his first time around in the Pokemon World, this little guy is a little hardass that has an agenda and doesn't like to sway from it. He's got a temper, has had it since he hatched, and doesn't like when others mess around too much, quick to hit them with a Dragon Pulse or unleash Surf on anyone messing around when things are meant to be serious. Highwind is definitely destined to be a battler with the drive he's got going on and Noct plans to introduce him to Leviathan once this little guy is a little higher level, having a feeling that the Gyarados will enjoy this Skrelp's larger than life attitude quite a bit.

Rex is very much a typical Slowpoke in that he has slow reaction times and can come off as very oblivious to the world around him, but in reality this Slowpoke is actually a very out-going and ready for action Pokemon. He's got a very strong will and wants to fight for Noctis, has since the two crossed paths on Three Island, Rex seeing something in the prince that intrigued him enough to prompt a battle initially before he allowed himself to be caught. He trains hard alongside the others despite his slower speed and has proven he's got what it takes to be apart of Noct's new active battling team.
Now that he's got Psychic at his disposal, Rex has made it clear that he wants to eventually evolve into a Slowking, honoring both the name he holds (because he knows Noctis named him after his own father) and because he wants to be a king like his trainer is. The addition of Halberd the Nidorino has only fueled this desire, as the other Pokemon will eventually take on a "King" evolution as well and Rex wants to make sure the line of Kings is strong in Noct's team.

Noctis encountered this flighty little Mantyke while visiting Four Island and diving with Armin the first time, not intending on adding any Pokemon to his team at the time but, well, this little guy had other plans for the prince. Outright sticking to his back as he was exploring the reef, the Mantyke rode around on Noctis for most of the time he spent under the water and seemed to enjoy making it a little difficult for him to travel around.
He saw it as a game even if Noctis didn't.
Eventually Noctis caught the little guy just to keep him from causing anymore trouble and Crepe, as the prince dubbed him, became apart of the troublemakers already inhabiting the prince's team. He's not much of a battler just yet but he's great for morale boosting, always there to cheer his teammates on and he loves dancing about to the music that Quay creates. Despite how much of a troublemaker he can be Noctis is pretty charmed by the little guy, even when Crepe decides it's time to play tag and takes off at high speeds through the water on a whim.

While visiting the islands Noctis got wind of a breeding center and decided to pay it a visit, not really intending to pick any new Pokemon up...but then he saw that they had Riolus available. The loss of Ash and Danny still stung for both him and Bean so he made the call to purchase one of the canine Pokemon and brought it back to the house as a surprise for his starter Pokemon. Dubbing the little girl Cara, Noctis introduced the pair and it was honestly love at first sight. Bean took to the little Riolu immediately and Cara bonded with the larger Pokemon without hesitation, clearly accepting her as mom without needing time to adjust.
A very gentle little thing, Cara always takes her time when learning new things, determined to get it right so she can do it perfectly from that point forward. It's very rare to see her away from Bean or Sprout, her sibling, but she will wander places with Noct from time to time as long as she gets to hold his hand.

The fluffiest and most determined creature ever, Floof ended up following Noctis around most of Cherrygrove while the prince and Prompto were staying there. Before they left, Noctis decided to offer him a place in his team and the Bidoof happily let himself be captured. He's a cuddler and loves to nap with Bean but is also very determined to win whenever they train--even if he's not the strongest thing out there.
While not an active battler, preferring to stay at Noct's rental house and take care of any of the others also staying there, Floof is a rough and tumble guy when the situation calls for it. He can hold his own against the best of them and Noctis has worked hard to make sure that Floof never has trouble getting his point across in a fight.
Since Noct's return to the Pokemon world Floof has been a little more adamant about staying by the prince's side and doing what he can to prove himself on the battlefield in the process. He wants to do what he can to protect his trainer (he knows that he went through some pretty rough stuff back home) and that means he has to get stronger! (Fun fact: He's already strong.)

When the swarm of lion-like Pokemon entered Cherrygrove, Noct and his small team had taken on a few of the creatures including Regent. Down to 1HP after the battle, Noctis decided to try catching the small Shinx and didn't have any issues catching this guy mostly because Regent seemed to have taken an interest in Noctis and his team. There was something about them he found intriguing and honestly he was just too tired to fight it so he made the choice to stay inside the ball and see what would happen.
He's hands down one of the calmest members of the team and has stayed that way through all of his evolutions. His patience is that of a saint as well, Regent able to deal with the more rambunctious members of the team easily and he genuinely seems to adore young Pokemon, allowing them to crawl all over him and even giving them piggy-back rides from time to time. When it comes to battle, though, a new side of Regent comes out: his competitive streak. He absolutely hates to lose and will work his hardest through any fight to make sure that he comes out victorious at the end. When he's not spending time with little ones or sunning himself Regent is usually training, happily going head to head with any of the others so he can perfect a strategy against all over types.
Now one of Noct's core battlers, Regent is looked at by many of the other members of the team with respect as he's been around longer than most. (Even if he defaults to Bean on all decisions because she's the leader guys. Come on.)

Part of the pair of Rockruffs that became really interested in the group when they were camped out in the dark cave, Shepard took an instant liking to Noctis. There was no battle necessary because the poffins that Bean offered the pair were more than enough to win them over and Shepard spent the rest of the night sprawled over Noct's lap getting belly scratches and ear rubs. The little Rockruff happily followed him away from the cave when he and Prompto set out the next day and the prince officially invited her to join the team, giving her a Pokeball of her own during their trip to the next town.
Since that day Shepard has been a rather constant fixture in the team, bonding immediately with Bean and Pride. She's a bit on the clumsy side but always cleans up the messes she makes and is just a lot of fun to be around in general. While she is a bit of a clown, though, she will get snappy if anyone messes with her pack and even as a Rockruff she was determined to chase off anyone that was threatening! When she finally did evolving it was late one evening and, unlike her sibling that had chosen Prompto as their trainer, she took on the Midnight form, standing upright rather than on all fours. She's even more chill now than she was before, Shepard enjoying lounging about whenever she gets the chance but oh does she love to play just as much as she loves to lounge. She's easily become one of Noct's core battlers and a mainstay on his team, taking her place with Bean, Pride, Carbuncle, Chocochick, and Leviathan as the leads of the group. She adores Noctis and will go to bat for him if anything happens, turning into a bristling mass of fur and fury if need be.
After a Team Rocket lab was blown up in Goldenrod City, Shepard accompanied Noctis and Pride who, along with Ash and some of his team, went to check things out. It was there that Shepard and Pride found the small Magby that was later dubbed Tamale, the little Fire Pokemon adopting the Lycanroc and Luxray as her surrogate guardians for now. Shepard takes the role extremely seriously as she understands what sort of abuse the baby-mon was put through and goes full terror mode on anyone that even glances wrong at Tamale.

While she's generally a very easy going little Pokemon, Ana is definitely a one-person Sneasel. She bonded to Noctis the moment she hatched and can usually be found clinging to his leg or huddled up inside his coat if he's sitting down. She's not aggressive towards any other people or Pokemon but she prefers not to interact with any of them. (Though she does seem to enjoy Floof's presence quite a bit.)
The exception to this is, of course, during training and battles. She throws herself into fighting, clearly getting a thrill from it and striving to be the best she can be. This new focus came after meeting Diarmuid, Ash's Gallade. Intrigued by the other Pokemon and the whole knight business, Ana is determined to prove that she can be one as well. She admires the Gallade's bold nature and everything he stands for and wants to be that for her trainer--and maybe even other Pokemon one day.
After Noctis and Ash returned to Olivine following the Nightmare Forest event, Ana seemed to decide then and there that it was time for her to evolve so she could better protect her trainer; be a better knight to her princely charge. Acquiring the razor claw that Noctis had purchased months ago, Ana evolved the night they returned home, pledging herself to protect her trainer and team from that moment forward.
She's still not an overly social Pokemon but she's gotten better at working with others and engaging with them, standing up for those that need her and being a role model for the younger members of Noct's team. (Like Sprout and Cara.) Like her own mentor, Diarmuid, Ana has taken on a student of her own in Kotetsu the Charmeleon, teaching the other everything she knows to continue the tradition of knighthood.

The biggest brat to ever brat. Seriously. This little girl appeared in Noct's hotel room during the weird things that happened one weekend and he has no idea where she came from. She's just a little ball of rage and doesn't like to listen to anything anyone has to say. (Noct ended up having to stuff her--gently--into a backpack to keep her from getting into too much trouble while he tried to navigate through Goldenrod okay.)
Having been together for over a month now, Noctis has grown to adore this little ball of fury though he still gets frustrated with her because of how bratty she is. Add Crowe, Noct's Tyrunt, to the mix and it's becoming harder and harder to keep Kitty out of trouble especially since she, along with Crowe and Amicitia, desire to become pro-wrestlers thanks to the influence of a certain Pikachu belonging to Noct's boyfriend Ash.
Now a Tyranitar, Kitty is an unstoppable force of nature that is extremely protective of Crowe and Amicitia..but will also throw down if anyone dares to threaten Noctis. She is overly protective of her trainer and will not stand for anyone doing something that could harm him so, for your own well being, don't do anything stupid when she's around.
Since Noct's return to the Pokemon world Kitty has been a bit more subdued, largely due to Crowe and Amicitia being missing leaving her the only pro-wrestler around. She's still fiercely protective of her trainer and the team as a whole now but her spark is definitely dimmer than it use to be.

Despite his best efforts after this little Pokemon hatched, Noctis didn't have much luck bonding with Aegis or making much headway in training the little Staryu. It's timid nature and fear of Pokemon much larger than itself made it very difficult to have Aegis out most of the time and ultimately Noctis realized that, for Aegis's own well being, it might be best to find the little one a better place to live.
His chance came upon reaching Goldenrod during December after his trip to the Kanto Region when he met a young trainer that was having some trouble with a female Nidoran that she had caught. Noctis told her about the Staryu he had that needed some special attention and a very patient, calm trainer and the young girl seemed intrigued by the Staryu's story. Introductions were made and Aegis seemed to take to the girl much easier than the Pokemon had to Noctis and after an hour of interactions it was decided:
Aegis would go with the girl while Noct took the Nidoran into his team.

Battle Details:
Starting off against the Noctowl, Bean is going to immediately use Defense Curl to boost her own defense followed by Screech to lower her opponent's since she doesn't have anything that's super effective against Flying types. From there she's going to use Body Slam twice in a row in order to take this bird out of the game.
At the start of the next round Noctis is going to use a potion on Bean to be on the safe side, since she is the only Pokemon he's got in this race. Afterwards he'll have her use Screech again to knock the Honchkrow's defense down some before using her third turn to strike with Surf.
Once the Honchkrow is down and their final opponent is out, Noctis will use a Hyper Potion he bought this time before having Bean use Screech twice in a row this time for a double hit to the Pidgeot's defense stat. Saving her strongest move for the Pidgeot, Bean's going to use Hyper Beam against the final bird foe in hopes of taking it out with one shot.

The back porch has a stairwell that leads down to the beach, allowing for easy access to the water. Because of this, the Karp Squad permanently stay in Olivine City to enjoy the water and have free access to the entire channel. Floof is a permanent resident of the house where he watches over some of the less battle-oriented Pokemon.
