Once it was over the Growlithe must have seen something in Noctis because he happily joined the Prince's team. Glaive is that Pokemon that encourages all the others to train and be the best they can be, always ready to go whenever Noctis switches him into rotation.
He's a protective sort when it comes to Noctis, Glaive always staying right at the prince's side when he's out and keeping a close watch on anyone that approaches.
After the arrival of Ignis in Johto, Noctis assigned Glaive to be his bodyguard. This little canine takes his job seriously and is diligent in protecting the steward.
