Met in Ilex Forest (level 12) | March 5th, 2018 Despite being one of the harder to find Pokemon in Ilex Forest, Talcott sought out Noctis after the prince and his crew spent a few days wandering through on their way towards Azalea. Why, you ask? Because he was a prince! The little Chespin had no idea what a prince was but heard some Pokemon talking about it because they'd heard from some other Pokemon that had heard from the prince's Pokemon who he was and oh he just had to see for himself! So the little guy had set out on a valiant quest to find the prince and finally managed to do it on the day Noctis finally reached the outskirts of Ilex.
Talcott was exhausted but managed to catch up with the group and the little guy stumbled over some rocks and ended up colliding with Quay the Popplio, the pair falling all over themselves and taking Nyx out with them. Needless to say it was a bit of a mess and in the end Noct got all three of them cleaned up and cheered up with some poffins. Talcott was immediately charmed by the prince--PRINCES WERE SO COOL!!!--and made it clear that he wanted to travel with them too! Quay vouched for him without any hesitation, clearly interested in the little guy and how adorably clumsy he was, and how could Noctis say no to anything she wanted? With a name all his own and a bandanna gifted by the prince!!!! Talcott joined the party and is off on a new adventure!
